Unreliable buses

Trying to work out how to get to Santiago de Compostela airport on Saturday. A bus goes to the centre of Santiago from Muxia four times a day but when we mentioned buses to the lady in the marina office, she shook her head as did the lady in the Monbus ticket office; when F asked if she could guarantee it’s arrival she burst out laughing and shrugged. Have opted for the safer but more expensive option- a taxi!
Had an enjoyable lunch out, warm enough to sit outside and no rain today.
Back to the boat after lunch, we then enjoyed a “paseo”, an evening walk in true Spanish fashion. Walked to the peninsular with views of the estuary as well as out to sea. Visibility had been very poor when we came in, today the dangers were very clear, the breaking waves being a bit of a clue!
We passed the small ancient church of Santa Maria of Muxia with its bell tower. A very simple church, sadly closed.
