SATURDAY 19th March
2011
Its gas really, as we said yesterday , we were
happy bunnies again, but as we type this it is raining "cats & dogs"
again,
Now, we did have a good day yesterday and had Pizza
for dinner around 4pm, this was followed by some Tuna and Sardines
for dessert, washed down with a cup of tea,
Just goes to show, food is food, no matter what way
you take it in,
00.00hrs We covered 199.8 n miles in the last
24hrs, just not reaching the 200 miles
The weather remained good for the night again, NE
wind of 25 /28 knots, and we still have a positive current.
Suzanna, and Aileen did the 00.00 to 06.00hrs
, allowing skipper to get 6 hrs rest.
At dawn, Skipper changed the fuel filters on the
generator, a tough enough job as the boat was being tossed all over the
place.
It is obvious that we got a dirty fill of
Diesel somewhere in Brazil.so we will have to clean the fuel tank at some stage
shortly.
We are +4hrs UTC ( Grenwich
meantime)
Basia are still doing well, and expect to
arrive in Granada on the 26th March.
Thats all for now,
Signed :- Stephen Hyde ( Skipper
)
