In some respects, we should title the blog " Eating
and drinking our way around the World, "
We had that title many moons ago , and it fits the
bill nicely.
Spain won the World cup, and needless to mention
that the Spaniards on this trip will have bragging rights for some time to
come.
some of the crews got out of the scratchers at
04.30 hrs to watch the match on TV.
07.00hrs, We moved the boat to the quay wall, and
made ourselves comfortable there.
skipper went to the " Yachting World" office to
register our berth position and sort out some paperwork.
Aileen found a medical centre and got some advice
and medication from the in house doctor, She was happy with this,
Do you know something, we still miss Donal and
Margaret,, the boat seems so quiet..........
Grab this, The music man at the marina bar has a
black tee shirt with F.B.I. written on the back.
He says F.B.I. stands for ..........." Female Body
Inspector" he he , gas , isint it
!................................
11.30 We decided to continue our trip around
the Island, On our way , we dropped off Scotty , Mike and Jeanne at the Cascade
falls,
and continued to the Havanagh Restaurant for lunch,
and Aileen had a swim when we were finished eating.
15.00hrs, We departed the " Havannagh " and drove
north about the island, Beautifull lush green country side, so many different
types of trees,
It took 2 hours to complete the trip, and not
helped with the lack of signs,
We returned the 4x4 when we reached town again, and
walked back to the boat.. just in time to go to the Commadore's house for
drinks,
19.00hrs We ( all 3 of us ) returned to " Voyaguer"
for dinner, Dave and Sue prepared a lovely lamb dinner, ( Sue mostly )
with a goats cheese starter,, the whole
thing was yum, yum,
Meanwhile , skipper had a belly pork roasting in
the oven on " A Lady", as it was out of the deep freezer long enough
and needed to be cooked, so it will do cold
lunches,
We had a great night on " Voyaguer" and it was late
when we returned to " A Lady"
We hit the scratchers, and
zzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz
