08.00hrs, another beautifull day here in the
bay,
Fats put up all the bunting on " A LADY
" to make her look like a pritty picture,
10.00hrs, The skipper and Donal cleaned
and changed the fuel filters to the Generator and Engine, The fuel filter to the
Generator was full of shite,
this was the bloody deisel taken aboard in the
Galapagos. The skip is still fuming over that,
However , this did not solve the Generator
problem.
Later we got a kind of mechanic to look at it , but
he did not solve the problem either, so we still have no generator, but
can
charge the batteries with the engine,
So now we have
no :-
Generator,
watermaker.
spare anchor.
dericks
( for lifting the rib)
mobile phones,
Wifi,
and we have ...................1 torn
spinniker
lots of high spirits
1 wasted Battery, ( causing the drain on the batteries )
Dreamcatcher got too close to us, so we decided to
raft up alongside them, and our problems are nothing in comparrison to
theirs.
Stephen and Aileen booked themselves into the "
Pearl" hotel for the night.
Later on we went aashore to watch a special
performance of the Hakaa dance by the locals, boys and girls,
No fancy " Princess " for
Donal.......pity
17.00hrs we all went to the Hotel for happy
hour, and this was followed by dinner at the hotel.
a great relaxing night with plenty of laughs and
wine,
A late night,
