09:15    Depart for Corfu. Millpond conditions. Pumped and wet vacuumed the bilge, added bilge cleaner.

11:00    Tied up along side fuel jetty at Gouvia marina. Took on 982 litres of diesel to fill both tanks. Filled dinghy tank. Motored out and anchored off Gouvia. John and I then headed into Gouvia marina in the dinghy for supplies and lunch. The services and shops around the marina foreshore are very good however the marina is a rip off at Euro 175 per night, plus power plus water. I had made a booking some 6 months before for one night. A few days out I contacted them to change the date by one day, plus stay another 2 days. They said no problem, a berth was available, but I would still have to pay for the cancelled day. It is a condition of booking but to not give any flexibility, given I had booked 6 months out and they had spare berths available is very poor. So I did not proceed with the 3 day booking, wrote off the Euro 175 for the day I had booked and made a decision to simply stay at anchor in the far nicer location off NOAK yacht club, adjoining old Corfu town.
