Up early, depart Port Polis for Katakolon, Peloponnisos. Water maker on. Under motor, negligible wind.

9 Jul 13:40

Anchored at Katakolo Boulber, Peloponnisos. A cruise ship in the port. Long run under motor  (51NM) in almost mill pond conditions. Made water and filled up tanks enroute. After a swim and stern shower, we took the dinghy ashore, hired a car and drove up the world heritage archaeological site of Olympia, dating back several centuries BC. A significant site, well worth the trip, well presented and preserved. We returned, dropped off the car around 18:30, had a drink and dinner at one the numerous quay tavernas.
