18-Jun-23 Fiskardo
We spent the day at Fiskardo. Early in the morning I brought the dinghy plastic fuel tank aboard. I vented any remaining fumes in the tank using the heat gun on low heat then, using a
redundant HDPE fitting as a source of plastic, I used the electric rope cutter to plastic weld the small hole over. Worked a treat. Cemal and I then returned to shore and organised a taxi to take us to the nearest petrol station to get fuel (8km away). We
then returned to the port, connected the fuel tank. Job done. We then mixed the epoxy resin and refitted the helm seat. Early afternoon we weighed anchored and berthed stern to at the town quay, as ferries were imminent.
