We departed for the Excelsior hotel in Dubrovnik, entertained by a very competent and knowledgeable taxi driver, Emil,  arriving at 2pm after a 2 hour drive, including a ferry crossing across a narrow section of Kotor Bay. Later we walked into the historical old town for a tour of the sites by foot and a late lunch. We returned in the evening and relaxed over a G&T at the Excelsior outdoor restaurant admiring the magnificent view across the water to Otok Lokrum and back to the old town. Yet another perfect evening in the Mediterranean.
