We had planned to head out for a test sail however weather was not favourable. So we continued on detailing the inside of the boat, making up the cabins, collecting redundant bits and pieces for disposal and storing what we could. Did a run around town getting various bits and pieces. Following the engine systems control fault yesterday, we had organized for the Volvo dealer to attend. As it turned out, once the engine batteries had been fully charged the fault had disappeared. The Volvo agent advised this fault would appear with low voltage to the control circuit. Lesson learned, connect my larger battery charger to the engine battery to fully charge before launch, which would save a 200 Euro call out!

Antonio, the refrigeration technician who fitted the new water maker and new fridge and freezer compressors came to the boat to check all aircon and refrigeration systems. He noted a leak on one the compressor lines, fixed it and regassed the unit. Plus replaced a failed capacitor on one of the aircon units. Good bloke, does a very thorough and very neat job.
