2200hrs 26 June. We are in force 7/8 with occasional force 9, seeing winds up to 50 kts. Seas breaking over port side and occasional pooping. It’s a wild ride with just a jib pocket out trying to reduce speed to have better control at the helm as the waves come at the boat from different directions. The moon is out so visibility is good. Despite the helm being a handful it is a great experience and Westralia is giving us great confidence in the way she is handling the conditions. Watch flying by!
