1530hrs:
Depart Luka Saplunara, Mljet for Uvla Samratin, Dubrovnik. In the morning Francesco went hunting for octopus and then we went ashore to dispose of rubbish and hook up to wifi to update the blog and emails. For lunch Francesco prepared melon and prosciutto followed
by tuna cubes with fresh tomatoes and herbs. 1930hrs: We arrived around 1830hrs at Luka Portok, at the island of Lokrum, located not far and in sight of the old walled town of Dubrovnik. I decided to get closer to Cavtat
instead of Uvla Samratin, and this bay was more protected. We stood off at anchor until the day trippers left and then motored in, anchored and tied off the stern to rocks ashore. Beautiful location that we had to ourselves alone, once the remainder of the
day trippers and tourist boats departed around 2100hrs. Francesco prepared the most tender octopus dish followed by a marinated tuna dish prepared in the oven. Superb!
