Anchored and tied off stern to town quay, Port Zakynthos. Very friendly port assist, Alex, assisted with ropes and handled Port police transit log paperwork for Euro 45 (includes berth fee). Also he booked a hire car for 2pm. Catherine and I took the Bromptons for a ride around town checking out electronic shops for a an Android smart tv box. No luck. Returned to the boat, had lunch then took the car and headed up to black cave in the centre of Zakynthos. This gave us a panoramic view across the fertile valley back to the town of Zakynthos and beyond to the mainland. On our return we got some groceries and the smart tv box from at large store nearby. Returned to the boat where I worked on setting up the TV box whilst Catherine took the Brompton into town for a tour. Later we both headed into town for a very good meal at a local taverna.

Greek lady selling home made wine, olives and cheese
The “wine” on the right tasted more like sherry. We declined!
The home made cheese and olives were very good
