After a late start we watered up, connected to shore power then made our way to a car hire office where we hired a Mini Moke for the day. It must have been a at least 60 years old, the paint work maybe 5 years.

We headed off after fuelling up, calling in at Lacco Ameno. There I almost had my head taken off when a soccer ball came through the Moke. Losing my cool I approached some young kids on a nearby park where I showed them how to kick a soccer ball AFL style. This I immediately regretted as they were very young and just having a bit of fun. I also managed to raise the ire of one of the adults nearby and we made a hasty retreat in the Moke.

We stopped at Forio where we fruitlessly searched for a ship's chandlery as I need to replace a float switch on the forward head sump tank. We had lunch there then headed off into the interior of the isloa where we parked the car and climbed to the highest peak, Mt Epomeo.
