11:00 Depart Poros

12:40 Anchored at Moni Island, opposite Perdika, Aegina. The small rock surrounded inlet all to ourselves in crystal clear water. Motor sailed most of the way in light winds (7 to 12knts), 30SB, 8 SOG. We took the dinghy for a circumnavigation of Moni Island, stopping in at the swimming bay on the north end for an OJ at the small taverna. Returned to the boat and spent a lot of time in the water, exploring the small inlet where the water remained fairly deep (+7m) right up to the rock face of the island, with some small caves eroded into the perimeter. A pleasant change being we were the only boat there. In the evening we headed into Perdika, a busy small port on Aegina with a great strip of very good tavernas. We had an excellent fish dinner and nice rose.
