08:00    Depart Katakolo, under motor, mill pond smooth conditions.

14:10    Anchored in 0. Navarino, a large bay with the town of Pylos on the east entrance to the bay. Again motored all the way, hoisted the sails a couple of times gaining 0.2 or 0.3 knots when very light winds came off the bow. After a swim and a GnT, we took the dinghy to the town quay and explored Pylos, an attractive town at the head of the bay. We then walked about 1km up the ascending road to the east, to the recommended Philip restaurant. Had the obligatory Aperol Spritz and local rose, and then one of the best meals we have had in Greece, overlooking O. Navarino. On our return to the town Jude picked up some supplies from a small supermarket.
