1100hrs Craig and Bernadine arrived at 9am. After a coffee undertook a briefing and them we departed Riva Di Traiano at 11am.

1700hrs Anchored at Calla Delle Cannelle. Motored all the way in very light winds, on the nose. We went for a swim and then later took the dinghy into the port village for dinner. Had a chat with a piolt boat operator about the Costa Concordia accident and ongoing salvage operation, now involving removal of massive concrete blocks poured onto the rock bottom and used to secure the ship to stop it sliding into deeper water.
