My first day in the laundry I met a French guy trying to get alon with his poor English. I helped him to translate. A few days later I met him again trying to find some space as a crew on a boat over to the Atlantic. Sorry we’re a full crew already. At the same time I asked him if he was looking for a job and if he could consider looking after our kids while we we’re going to seminars (emergencies, provisioning, first aid, rigging, downwind sailing…) and preparing the boat. He was a bit surprised at first, but why not? Then I wondered…. I have no idea who this guy is, is he reliable? A totalt stranger. I just hade to go on the gut feeling. We took at least his passport number and I took a picture with him and the kids. It showed to be the best friend for the kids. He has been fantastic with the kids and a great great help for us! Jean-Charles or JC has been fetching the kids nearly every morning at around 9.30 to 15.00…

… in the afternoon the older kids have had their own dagis with them ;-)

And someone got a special treatment. Thankyou Demi for taking care of Inez!
