Last Sunday, a week before the start, the ARC organised the Official Flagg Ceremony with a Flagg Parade along the marina. All sailors participate in their countries with bands and musicians playing. What a feeling! People dancing, the inhabitants of Las Palmas waving and cheering and everyone gathering in a Nations Party! It was unsurrealistic to see all these 26 nations participating, spread in 180 boats with an average of 5 crew members. And everyone is there to share the same experience. Great fun!
