I'm sure this place has a name and the kids in the canoes did tell me but yes, I've forgotten it! Anyway, a bit of a slow trip to here but at least I was able to sail most of the way for once. Anchorage 22 is the number in the 101 Indonesian Anchorages book that is floating around.

Anyway, a peaceful night. The anchorage has the usual uncharted reefs and the holding was lousy if not actually non-existent. A very rocky bottom but there were no dramas as there was no wind! I anchored where the kids in the canoes, who were determined to be run down, indicated and an adult in another canoe agreed. I think I was heading for a shallow patch which is why they got a bit agitated but if that is the case then the anchorage is a bit tight. Perhaps a bit further behind the reef and away from the village wqould have been better but I was only staying for the night.

As I send this I'm en route to the next anchorage, a mere 41nm slow slog I suspect. Should be there tonight and in Labuan Bajo either tomorrow (7th) or the day after if the anchorage is as pleasant as 'advertised'.
