Once again the old 'up and over'

anchors were secure still and the tensions were about the same so it must
have been a combination of the angle of the drop-off from the sand bank,
weight of water in the port hull and bad luck. No further damage as far as
could be seen.
Apart from the inspection trip, today was spent in patching and testing
the flotation bags, getting a new flotation sausage from Seamech~I had to
replace the filler-flange and the drain valve as they were too busy, which
involved making new rubber seals using their equipment. Tomorrow being
Sunday we can't use the club rescue boat and not all 'the boys' are
working, so the next attempt is planned for Monday morning. We now have
more than enough flotation gear and NOW it doesn't leak. Hopefully at 0800
two boats and 6 roughie-toughie salvage types (OK, 5 of those +me) will go
out, right Trouters, set up the flotation gear and around 1600 we'll be in
the marina bar toasting a lengthy job completed.
Except that it won't be complete of course. The work will then begin.
