What a difference a day makes

Not even twenty four little hours!

Once again I woke up this morning. This is a good habit and I intend to have at least another forty years of wake-ups.
The IPad battery was flat. In fear and trepidation I plugged it into the charger. It switched on and...
There was no warning! The screen was unlocked and I rapidly disabled the damn ICloud back-up mode.
Man is no longer lost, merely temporarily uncertain of his exact position, at least until the IPad is fully charged

I went to the battery shop. As I expected the battery was fine. Unexpectedly the owner of the shop told me it was pointless having a battery if the camera didn't work so offered a full refund. I accepted.
Battery World in Darwin. 10/10 for customer service.

The final rally briefing was today. Wonderfully disorganised, both the country and the rally. I enjoyed Indonesia when I worked there 30+ years ago.

I have an Indonesian phone number, or at least a SIM card which purports to have the following no:
0813 13 959696

It should be activated by the time I arrive in Kupang. We leave on the 27th, it's 470 (ish) nm so I'm thinking four days at sea, provided there is some wind. Mind you I have de-barnacled the boat and the new rudder is more streamlined than bits of jagged concrete so possibly I may go a little faster. Or not.

I'm now a millionaire, at least in Indonesian currency (A$117). Must remember to ring the debit card people and tell them I'm moving to Indonesia.
