Whilst furling the gennaker last night, Steve and Rich noticed that the furling line had badly chafed and would have failed fairly soon. We used the gib as usual last night and had to motor for a couple of hours early this morning when the speed dropped below 4kts. Around 0900 Rich came on watch and we re-routed the furling line, knotted it together and have since been making an average of 6+kts again. We saw a few dolphins yesterday afternoon and are are seeing more flying fish. I think we have too much freeboard for them to wind up on deck, so no flying fish for breakfast!!!!
The weather is fairly warm but overcast and there were quite a few squalls last night. Today it's a bit brighter and the forecast is that the high cloud should dissapate by 19N.
AND NOW, a few words from soon to be 'ex-stugeron' Steve.........................................
Last night whilst preparing dinner (steak and potatoes) I looked out of the kitchen window and saw apod of Dolphins, what to do? I didn't have enough  food for them all so they took umbridge and left, well they were common dolphins. Bye
