Right, I'm in a deep water mooring. Been here since Thursday, but as yet no rudders! They have been finished, I had the divers lined up but John the GRP was a no-show. The first time that he's let me down.

Still no running engines! BUT, we have now established that a separate electrician will wire up the engines and Martin will provide an ignition system and engine guauges. That should finally start to happen on Monday. Am I confident? Well it was said in front of Arun, so this time maybe.

Arun was here. I now have a working pressurised water system and shower extractor pump. The 200 AMP CB for the anchor windlass should be here on Wednesday.

So, some progress. I also survived a night on home-made rice wine, courtesy of the Calypso brewery (SA) Inc. I must have the recipe, it was quite pleasant and cheaper than beer.

All in all, I'm a bit of a happier chappie. Hell, I even brought a French Courtesy flag for Noumea!
