Motored from Cowes to Thornham Marina on the 7th May. Wind was on the nose and although we could have tacked all the way it just seemed easier and more certain of making the tide up to Thornham to motor. From now on, I'll be working the tides and sailiong rather than mororing as this is the last 'deadline' of the trip. I'll be in Thornham for about a week, going through the boat systems/rigging with Mark & Co from MultiHull World. Nice to see everybody again although leslie & Mike are now based in France. Just been invited on a Heavenly Twins rally in Poole Harbour over the bank holiday weekend, which ties in nicely with my plan to leave to go back to Guernsey around the 25th to finish off a couple of jobs, get rid of the car & have my last jab. Below a couple of piccies of Thornham-on-mud. A very peaceful spot, lots of wildlife etc. Multihull World are being very helpful so it should be a pleasant week. Posting this via Iridium so let's see how long it takes to post pictures.
