Left Isla Grande, Rosario this morning at 0900.
Motored for a couple of hours then the wind filled in a bit, so finished with a
very pleasant beam reach in a F4 with flat seas. The first time the main has
been up for about two months! In fact, the last time I had it up (the mainsail,
you fools!) was on the overnighter from Trinidad to Grenada.
Tintipan seems a pleasant anchorage, the usual
sandy beaches and palm trees (oooh, getting a bit jaded, are we dear?). The plan
is to 'pit stop' here tonight then on to the San Blas tomorrow, leaving about
0930 when hopefully the wind will have switched itself on a bit! There is some
discussion as to exactly where to enter the San Blas group, but the general
consensus seems to be Isla de Pinos is a good, all weather, day & night
entry point. Moonshiner & Delicado are here, so the 'fleet' sails
tomorrow.
I'll post some photos when I get internet access,
at the moment this is via satellite.
