no cooker or hob
but one day soon! Actually, as I really enjoy cooking and until recently was (moderately) successful in baking bread and even the occasional sponge cake I've decided to bin the old cooker/hob and replace them. I'm thinking that actually I can replace them with a small, 'dry land' cooker/hob as i don't need gimbles. measurements have been taken!
Said cheerio to Marion & Roger (Marionette 4) tonight. They're off 'to the West' tomorrow. They kindly (mad fools!) extended an invitation for me to stay with them in Adelaide, if I ever get there (hang on a minute, don't they live in Alice Springs???).
Finished all the staining on the bridge deck today,
Now all I have to do is rebuild the shelf, put up the blinds and replace the pelmet boards.....or should I embark on a boat-lightening project? Might be worth another 0.5 of a knot!!!!
If you haven't read t'other blog, I'm attending a book-launch (mine) in Aberdeen on Oct 1st. Winter draws on and all that, I must unearth some warm clothes
