This weekend I have mainly been

'Sarf & West mate, Sarf & West'

Walking down the Dusty Highway (yes, that is the real street name!) to see
if the starter motor has been re-mantled [nope. De electical mechanic was
a 'no show' for work on Saturday, even the workshop manager is getting
embarrased]
Doing lots of laundry....boring
making water.....the water-maker, not me personally
Surfing the net
Quality checking the bottle of Jack Iron rum 'wot I brought'.
Had a few drinks in a convenient water-side tavern with Delicado. They
should be in La Blanquilla by now, I may catch them up there or in
Curacao.
New crew-chap Simon is arriving on Wed pm, so hoping to leave early Fri
for pastures anew [de electrical mech'nic will be rowing the boat if he
hasn't 'delivered the goods' by Mon]. The weather is a little unsettled
with fairly frequent [warm] showers coming through. Normally not much wind
in them and the Trades remain E or Ne 15-20kts, which will be great for
heading west.
So, that's my weekend. No garden sheds rotating in the gentle breezes, no
paint flying off and I haven't even spent that much money...and that's a
first :)
