After just about two weeks in Ria de Muros, 'itchy
hulls' demanded that I move south, much as I like Muros town (last there 13
years ago, I wonder when I'll be back next?).
Now in the Ria de Arosa, at a place called
Caraminal. The forecast was for N/NW F3-5 and was it? Was it FCUK!!! SSW F2 most
of the way. About eight and a quarter hours in total, about three sailing
(just). Still, never mind, eh! Stbd engine (Hokum) has got about three hours to
an oil/filter change and Gun (t'other) has about 12 hours....deep joy. Lucky I
haven't got as generator otherwise that would probably need doing as well!! Glad
to say the solar panels & wind generator are keeping up with the
demand.
Gas bottle just ran out. I feel cheated, the last
one lasted 96 days but this one only lasted 93!!!
Looks a nice anchorage, about six other boats here
including a couple I met in Portosin, no doubt sdome social;ising at some
point!
More later.....
