A slow trip. It started well then the wind dropped and I was under-canvassed. Never mind, we plodded on and got here in the end. I had to spend the 3rd night at sea because I didn't want to transit a 'reefie area' in the dark, particularly as the chart said 'the chart is not WSG 84 consistent' or some such. What they meant was the reefs weren't necessarily where they were shown on the chart. In the end, as I would be approaching that area at midnight I went outside it which added 20nm to the trip. This meant that I couldn't make the anchorage before dark on day 3 so I held off overnight. Added to the fun was a fuel filter change which I left until daylight. That also meant slow progress for six hours!

Anyway, I'm the 8th (I think) boat here. Shallow anchorage and a beach landing which looks a mite surfey. Hey ho, brekkers and a kip then we'll see what we see.
