What can I say? Life onboard can be really 'tough'
at times, always cleaning or fixing something....... granted that's normally
cleaning a glass then fixing a rum punch, but just occasionally I get 'the urge'
to do some housework and/or maintenance (in this case, about 14 weeks after I
last cleaned the ships bell). I also re-glued some velcro that had come adrift,
so that's quite enough for a Sunday morning.
Guide to the consumption of 'Jack Iron'
rum punches
Pour Jack Iron rum in glass
wonder what it tastes like, so try it
neat
wait for eyes to stop watering
top up rum, add fruit juice in the ratio 1/3 rum,
2/3 juice
drink
solve the riddle of the meaning of
life
make another punch, getting the ratios mixed
up
forget the answer to the meaning of
life
fall asleep in the
cockpit.
