A beautiful night last night, wall to wall stars
for most of it and for once the sea settled down and just occasionally we surfed
gently down-swell and almost downwind at up to 8.5kts SOG and yes, Pauline, I
was listening to Enya!
Conditions today pleasant, still maintaining well
above the planned average speed. I've replaced the thermostat in the fridge this
morning so fingers crossed it'll be working again. For all you 'engineering
types' out there, 12V power was getting to the thermostat controller and the
cold plate was cold(ish) to the touch but wouldn't get cold enough to
freeze-down the freezer compartment. If not a U/S thermostat then??? Answers
inan email please:)
Just had our first time-change of the trip,
crossing the 105W Longitude line so local time is n ow UTC - 7hours. That'll
confuse everybody fopr a day or so!
All well onboard.
