A bit more like home

Good Friday and  bit more of a good job.
The power went off again, so I didn't get to sand the last shelf that needed it, and it was really too humid to do much work. However, I put one the last white coat (as opposed to the last straitjacket?) and put up a painting of a typical, traditional Fijian village.

It was done by a local school, raising money for new books. Rose reckons that it's a good representation and all Fijians who have seen it like it (and get an attack of nostalgia for a more traditional way of life).

As I've said before, because of what's missing from the boat it will seem strange to be back on board, but perhaps things like this will ease the transition back to 'a life aquatic'.
