you sir). Naturally (as I'm learning) the finished item is not quite
finished. I'll have to supply lines/fittings to attach the sunshade to the
life-lines. HOWEVER, said item should be onboard tonight (Tuesday).
I've arranged for the table to be weather-proofed, varnished and polished.
'Sam the varnish' charges like a wounded bull, but his work is good. He'll
start today & it will probably take him four days to complete. I suppose
I'm paying what I would in Blighty if you hired a 'French Polisher'. Good
old VISA, just hope they're not actually expecting the money to be
repaid!
The BBQ last night was quite amusing, met a few other cruisers (hmm,
perhaps I'd better think of another phrase for fellow aquatic gypsies).
Supposed to be going shopping this morning, but on balance I think I'll
stick around and moan at KNJ about the fabricator (unless he actually puts
in an appearance).
Otherwise, everything is just tickety-boo. The water gauge actually
measures the amount of water in the tank, the new fridge continues to work
(and chill beer) and I've even got a WIFI connection (at least, until I
try and post this).
