After a couple of nights in Ou Pau, a pleasant enough spot, we upped and
left for Nuka Hiva. The plan was to make for an anchoreage on the NE corner of
the islands but the winds were all wrong and we actually had to go25nm TO
WINDWARD! Yes, we sailed to windward, this is all wrong, I didn't sign up for
this. Be that as it may, a pleasant anchorage in a wood-lined arm off the main
bay. There is allegedly a town here but I guess it depends what you call a town.
In this case about three houses and a landing wharf for the inter-island
freighter. A night here then off to the main town, I feel.
