I'm not quite sure what these will show. The definitive story is now one pushrod needs a 'cup' on the end, exhaust rocker arm is damaged but can be fixed and rocker arm inlet thread has gone.

One end of the pushrod is OK. At the other end is a sort of cup arrangement. Not on this one obviously but on the others. It doesn't turn and seems to me, in my total ignorance (I can change the oil and filters Brian, but that's about it) that the valve clearance adjustment screw sits in the cup?

The pushrod was removed from the top of picture assembly

The displaced rocker arm has been removed as a pattern.
Actually, as I type the entire assembly has been removed.

Apparently it 'really is no major problem'. I'm confused and a little tired after a series of sleepless nights!
The other bit of news is that 'Abundance', a 50' Beneteau also being rebuilt on the hard is almost ready to launch. It's been suggested that as they need a 50 tonne crane we pool resources. The only problem is they won't be ready until the week after next. It makes sense (depending on my share of the price of course) and it would take the pressure off getting the electrics finished. Still nothing definite from Arun the Elektrikery. The only problem is I'm not sure if I can stand much more of this.

News about Steve on Dignity. The docs have more or less ruled out cancer and are thinking in terms of maybe MS.
