A pleasant meander along the east coast of Fuerteventura. Mainly motoring, a bit of motor sailing and for one hour, actual sailing!! About nine hours in all and about 40 nm in total. I was going to be a cheapskate and anchor outside for tonight before coming into the marina tomorrow but the wind had a hinto of ESE in it (that's my story) which was blowing, at 4kts, directly into the anchorage thus creating a lee shore [if you talked yourself into being paranoid about 4kts]. Anyway, all secured OK and off th see the Port Captain tomorrow, the security guard having taken the boats [and mine] details.
I'll probably stay here foer a couple of days [depending on 'la Quainta'] exploring the island, then on the road again towards Gran Canaria.
To cheer you all up, it's been raining on and off all day....BUT AT LEAST IT'S WARM RAIN, so ya boo sucks!!!!!!!
