An uneventful trip! I have to make a further repair to the gennaker, a small section came unstitched but no problem. The engine started and stopped. It also ran in forward gear and I gave it a few revs and went a bit faster. The emergency elektrikery has decisded to join in with the cruise again. Just a thought, but when Jim first gave it to me I always stopped it by switching off the fuel and letting it run dry. There were no problems. Since I started using the kill switch, problems. Aha! This leg I reverted to switching off the fuel and (fingers crossed) no further problems.

The anchorage here is either very deep or very shallow, nothing in between. I'm a little close to another boat but he's happy enough (provided I don't drag down onto him of course). The alternative was to drop the hook in 25 metres of water and physically I just can't haul up a 25kg anchor and 25metres of chain in a straight lift.

Gala dinner tonight. Looking forward to it and hope the usual wind reversal (nothing to do with the gala dinner) doesn't cause any problems.
