Ending on a high

The day began with a low......paying a bill.
In the middle there was a 'Hi'. I knew by sight a couple who arrived today from New Zealand. Not a particularly good trip up and my memory is going, was the boat Camomille? Probably not, but they're here for a few days so I will reveal my lack of memory and re-ask! Sorry, if you read this, it's the age you know.
The day ended on a sort of high. I got the pan-restraining system removed (with no damage I might add) from the place where the hob of the hob/oven used to be. Butto made a successful start on painting my cabin.
AND, wait for it....Marin the Meknik came onboard looking for the second metal ring that holds the saildrive doughnuts in place. This of course means that it has been 'temporarily misplaced', but today I'm taking that as a good sign that things are finally moving on the engine front!

Having removed this, I can now find a way of securing.....

This. Yes it's a 'bigun', but it was cheap(ish) and I can very definitely get two pans on there (after I buy two that is).

Cool man, cool.
