And it was a bit windy! What slightly spoiled it was the two small islands immediately behind me, sort of spoiled the effect.
Photographer Maureen thought this would make a good photo. Me and Mr 'Cape technical Services' posing by a termite mound. OK, whatever
And in the far distance a convoy appeared.
Two way traffic in a confined channel. Trouters being propelled by more horsepower than she has ever seen in her life! Three dingies this side, tow on t'other and one pusher.
Note the relaxed skipper on the roof. Depth? Nah the gauge is inaccurate, innit!
Having performed the rescue the 'lads' depart.
Today I have mainly been at the 40th anniversary Beer Can Regatta but have also done a bit of writing.
