A physically hard day lifting heavy, waterlogged stuff off the boat, wading chest-deep in diesely water, luvverly, not!. Even the aches in my muscles have aches of their own  Got all of the inflation bags off, an awful lot of paper mache and a couple of matresses. Didn't get the headsails off, one minor irritation one of the halyards was cut short in the search for useable rope, so will need to run a new halyard up the mast at some later date, don't have the rope to send up a mouseright now. Tomorow they come off.
The crane guy came to have a look. Smiley & I will go to their workshop in the morning to  get them to make some spreaders, then we'll hare back to the marina and place the flotation sausages under the boat and hopefully move her closer to the slipway. Naturally the concrete is not particularly strong, so the crane co is bringing some spreader boards for the crane, definitely a 35 tonner which is really on the light side. I have to say I don't have a great feeling about this but there is no other option.
Of course the boat is a total wreck inside, most of the additional shelves/cupboards that I had fitted have come adrift, but now with no books I suppose I don't need them. Apologies if people have been trying to ring me, the phone has been playing up and I need to use the speaker to hear people, be patient if you call and hear 'hello, hello'.
