A day out

As it was summer in the UK yesterday, I accepted an invitation for a day
sail in Poole Harbour on a Wharram 26. The sun shone, the wind was a
gentle F3/4 and even the water wasn't too cold. The boat was a delight to
sail, very responsive and accelerated very pleasingly in the gusts. The
only slight disappointment was that in all the photos I've seen of various
Wharrams there have been naked or semi-naked women onboard. On this one
there weren't any (I checked very, very carefully).
Work on Trouters is 'ongoing'. The KISS wind generator has been fitted (I
will post a photo in a day or so once I've re-sized it). The new cockpit
table is being fabricated and the fibreglass repair work (two small areas
of delamination) have been half completed. No response from the
'fridgeman' yet, I'll chase him up next week. In the meantime, I'm trying
to get used to the evenings being light until about 10pm and it being
light at 0430.
