Almost back where I started from, phew another epic voyage survived
A very peaceful night, after the wind over tide situation had sorted itself out that is! I can definitely say that the river bottom here is mainly mud, which means a slight alteration in anchoring technique. Wait at least 30 minutes before tugging on the anchor to give it a chance to sink in. I took the last hour of the ebb tide to drift back up early this morning, after the weekly call to the UK. Very nice, the ricer to myself apart from the wildlife. I had about seven birds (feathered) sleeping on the guardrail last night. They were very quiet and not too messy
I had hoped to do some writing this weekend but the old 'creative juices' seem to have taken the weekend off; still, never mind, every day's the weekend really

OK. When the book(s) sell in huge quantities, I may just buy a place like this, unless I go the route of the Outremer Lightweight 55. You could quite easily make an amphibian ramp by cutting a taxi-way through the trees. Oh yes, microlight amphibians are available in Australia/new Zealand. I want one just can't quite make up my mind which yet
