Back in the anchorage; we still have a small amount of water coming in (less than 2 litres per hour) so bearing in mind we have two mechanical pumping systems + a large bucket (!) after discussing it we are all as happy as we can be about continuing to Tahiti tomorrow, 29th.
We'll be travelling in convoy with Mohea (Ayeyoung & Helmut) and intend to remain in sight of each other at all times, for psychological reasons rather than necessity. The winds are forecast to be in the 10-15kt range which 'should' give us an ETA Papeete around mid-day local on the 1st July. Then it'll be a case of having the boat hauled out and the insurance company take over. I'm guessing that repairs will take up to three weeks, so when we get underway again we'll only be about a week or ten days behind the original schedule. This is fine as we had quite a bit of slack in the schedule anyway. It'll probably mean that we'll have to cut short the stay in the NorthernTongan Islands but there's always next season     :  )
