Must have been all of, oh let's see now, 3.48nm from the anchorage in the Cays to saline Bay, Mayreau!!! We motored to charge up the batteries as the next couple of days are unlikely to be sunny. This looks a sheltered spot, a little 'smelly' from the salt pans a couple of hundred metres away, but I think we can live with that. Also a bit of a hike up a steep hill to the 'town', but allegedly there are several bars/restaurants and one halfway decent supermarket, so we'll see.
'Tiger Frightener' came round for a farewell supper last night. I managed to spring a predominantly 'bean stew' on them (with some minced-beef), so I hope I'll be forgiven. Strange to think that I'll probably next see Larry in Bournemouth, when he services a friends Morgan. (We've been practicing sucking in of breath and saying things like 'Oh dear Guv'nor, this is worse than we thought. It'll take at least another day so that'll be more than the standard service. Oh dear oh dear oh dear'.
Oh yes, we had drinks on the beach on saturday night. The Canadians from Appleseed (Peter & Eileen) had a hand-operated blender for the rum punches. I want one!!!!!
