Or should that be wine & tapas? Anyway, still in Muros. It was blowing up to 30kts from the NE last night (anchorage open to the NE) and as I was upwind of 'ze cherman OVNI' and the sea wall I kept an anchor watch. Touch wood the Rocna is performing well and the bridle stops most of the shearing around. I seem to remember this happening 13 years ago. Most other boats have moved into the shelter across the bay but as I'm seemingly secure here and it's not uncomfortable I decided to stay put.
Launched the dingy this morning, but because of the swell (having had a nose around) there was no where to land without risking the old 'over and under'. Dingy now back in the davits as it's still blowing about 15-20kts and I don't want a rerun of last visit when I physically had to pull the dingy down to the boat as it had got airborne! My previous outboard was known as 'Nemo' because it spent more time underwater than above it  and as as the 'man who strips & rebuilds submerged outboards in ten minutes' is still languishing in Guernsey waiting to retire in 16 days, I've played safe [getting older-or something].
My daughter is *5 today, can't believe it (I won't give her age away).
Oh well, almost time for lunch. I have some pimientos on board so I can make my own tapas.
