Anchor up 0745, anchor down 1710 after motoring a mile or so up the river looking for somewhere to drop the hook. In the end I came back and anchored (just) outside the channel, right opposite the coastguard station. They'll soon move me on if I'm obstructing traffic!

A good run here. Apart from being rained on for half an hour getting the anchor up and getting underway it was a dry day. Showers to the right of me, showers to the left of me but I stayed dry, for some reason.

This looks a lovely spot. Up the river is really peaceful and would make a good cyclone hole at first sight. Unfortunately I'm on a mission and can't tarry. Very much a holiday resort now but not too noisy (yet) even though I'm right opposite the 'downtown' fleshpots.
