I think we're very close to where we anchored on the way down, about six
or seven weeks ago! Anyway, good old NZ met service got it all wrong as
usual, instead of the advertised W becoming SW 10-15kts we got
occasionally west up to 9kts and motor-sailed/motored all bar 30 mins of a
7 hour day.....at least we now have plenty of water (mutter mutter
mutter). Continuing North tomorrow (forecast the same but so what?) and
might well be back in the Bay of Islands for Sunday evening.
Had a bit of a barnacle scraping session yesterday, but I think I'm going
to have to bite the bullet, put on the wet suit and have a good 'scrape'
of both hulls, unless I fund somewhere suitable to dry out.
