A little bit of jiggery pokery to get anchored, including retrieving the stern anchor which 'disappeared' into the murky depths (1.0 metres) but was retrieved and re-set. There are four other boats in the lagoon and one anchored outside, so it's a little crowded.
First impressions, it's a little scruffy after French Polynesia but the island looked attractive as we approached. Soon to go ashore and check in. We'll quite possibly go aground at low water, but where we are is all sand so shouldn't be a major disaster.
More later.
