New engine parts needed! Both the injectors and injector pump are shot. To add to the woe the engine oil sump will have to be removed, drained and the engine flushed through several times as fine sand has got into the oil.
Luckily to raise the engine enough to get the sump off is not a problem, I have in the past used a pulley system attached to the boom to raise the engine. So far Jonathan the mechanic is not suggesting that the engine needs to be stripped down. If he does I'll have to try and resurrect the other engine by swapping the starter and alternator over.--
