A question of timing

Although the strong wind warning is still in place for the next area up the coast, the winds are decreasing. In fact in my present area by Sunday they are forecast to be down to 5-10kts and in the next area a comfortable 10-15kts, so when to leave?

The answer would seem to be mid-morning. I have around 35nm to go to the next area, so say 7-8 hours. Also GRIB files indicate that the good old Bureau of Meteorology might just be being a trifle alarmist over the strength of the winds. My original idea was not to go with a '30kts' in the forecast but if I leave late afternoon I may just 'run out of wind'. Oh well, departure mid morning it is then and hopefully Magnetic Island early afternoon tomorrow.
